Convention Center Reinforces Environmental Commitment with "+ Sustainable" Program

The Arch. Rubens Gil de Camillo Convention Center is taking a significant step towards sustainability with a program that combines reverse logistics and the circular economy. This initiative transforms organic waste generated at events into fertilizer, promoting a positive environmental impact and demonstrating, in practice, how waste can be reused and reintegrated into the production cycle.

This advancement reinforces the commitment of the Mato Grosso do Sul Tourism Foundation (FUNDTUR-MS) to environmental preservation and sustainable resource management, in synergy with state government guidelines. Under the administration of Governor Eduardo Riedel, the environmental policy prioritizes the balance between carbon, water, and biodiversity, promoting responsible production that minimizes environmental and social impacts.

Through concrete actions and innovation, the state of Mato Grosso do Sul reaffirms its commitment to preserving natural resources and building a sustainable future. The Convention Center remains a benchmark in implementing responsible environmental practices, inviting institutions and citizens to engage in the cause.

Fabiana Azambuja, manager of the Convention Center, emphasizes: "We are transforming environmental challenges into sustainable solutions. Our actions demonstrate that every discarded item can be an opportunity for renewal. We remain committed to preserving natural resources and invite everyone to join this cause. Together, we can build a green legacy for future generations."

Mato Grosso do Sul is advancing its environmental agenda with innovative solutions and a commitment to a more balanced future.
